Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 piece onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to garnish Fresh parsley

Method

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion for 3-4 minutes until it becomes translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the onion and garlic, stirring for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, then add the heavy cream and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and let it simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the spices for a few hours before cooking. For a thicker sauce, add a teaspoon of cornstarch mixed with a little water before simmering. Fresh herbs like dill or thyme can be added for additional flavor.
