  • 8 fresh zucchini blossoms
  • 4 medium tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing

  • Optional: herbs (e.g., cilantro or basil) Add for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gently wash and dry the zucchini blossoms and remove the stems.
Cooking
  1. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Lightly sauté the zucchini blossoms for about 2-3 minutes until they are soft. Season with salt and pepper. If using cheese, add it at this stage to melt slightly.
  3. Warm the tortillas in another pan or directly over the stove flame for a few seconds on each side until pliable.
Assembly
  1. Fill each tortilla with the sautéed blossoms, adding herbs if desired.
  2. Roll or fold the tortillas, serve warm, and enjoy your simple and delicious meal!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the filled tortillas in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They should be eaten within 1-2 days for the best taste and texture. Reheat gently before serving.
