Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm.
- Add the warmed milk mixture, egg, and cinnamon to the flour mixture and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
Baking
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, then roll tightly into a log.
- Cut into rolls and place in a greased baking dish, letting them rise again for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- While the rolls are baking, mix the three milks together.
- Once baked, soak the rolls in the milk mixture and let them absorb for a few minutes.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the microwave.
