Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup tahini Use smooth tahini for best results.
  • 1 cup dates, pitted Ensure dates are soft for easier blending.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust based on desired sweetness.
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder Adjust based on how chocolatey you want the cups.
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract For added flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances sweetness.
Additional Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup nuts (e.g., almonds or walnuts), chopped Customize with your favorite nuts.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a food processor, combine tahini, dates, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Process until smooth and well combined.
  3. Stir in the chopped nuts.
  4. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the liners, filling them about 3/4 full.
  6. Place in the freezer for about 1-2 hours until firm.
  7. Once set, remove from the muffin tin and store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

You can enjoy these freezer cups straight out of the freezer, letting them soften slightly before serving. They can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
