  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1 cup pretzels, broken
  • 1/2 cup sesame sticks
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
Seasoning and Coating
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, black pepper, chili powder, and salt.
  3. Add rolled oats, cornflakes, mixed nuts, pretzels, sesame sticks, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Spread the mixture in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15 minutes, then stir the mix and return it to the oven for another 10 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on the baking sheet to crisp up.
  3. Transfer cooled snack mix to an airtight container.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks; can be frozen for up to 3 months. Don’t rush the baking for the best crunch!
