Main ingredients
  • 1 lb beef sirloin steak Use a good quality steak.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic Mince for the marinade.
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary Chopped for the marinade.
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 medium red bell pepper Cut into pieces for skewering.
  • 1 medium red onion Cut into wedges for skewering.
  • 8 pieces wooden skewers Soak in water before use.

Preparation
  1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 20 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Mince the garlic and chop the rosemary, then combine them with olive oil, salt, and pepper to make a marinade.
  3. Cut the steak into 1-inch cubes and toss it with the marinade; let it sit for at least 30 minutes for maximum flavor.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  2. Thread the steak cubes, bell pepper pieces, and onion wedges alternately onto the skewers.
  3. Grill the kebabs for 8 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with sides such as a crunchy cucumber salad or tucked in a pita with yogurt sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. You can prep by marinating the steak a day in advance.
