Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar (if using), and salt until smooth.
  2. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
  2. Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet, tilting to spread it evenly.
  3. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden.
  4. Flip and cook for another minute on the other side.
  5. Repeat with the remaining batter, stacking the crepes on a plate.

Notes

You can serve crepes with sweet fillings like fresh fruits, whipped cream, or savory options like ham and cheese. Leftover batter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two days, and cooked crepes can be stored for three days.
