For the breadsticks
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Use fresh mozzarella for the best stretchiness.
  • 1 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing
For serving
  • 1 cup marinara sauce For dipping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Sprinkle pepperoni slices and mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll the dough tightly into a log, then slice into sticks.
  5. Place the sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

These breadsticks stay delicious for about 3-5 days in the fridge. To prepare them ahead of time, refrigerate unbaked rolls for up to a day, or freeze them for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for a fresh-baked texture.
