Preparation
- In a bowl, toss the steak slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until shimmering.
Cooking
- Add the marinated steak and stir-fry until browned, about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Toss in the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return the steak to the skillet and pour in the beef broth, sugar, and black pepper; stir to combine.
- Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the steak and veggies.
- Drizzle the sesame oil over the top, give a final stir, and remove from heat.

Serve this dish over steamed rice or in warm tortillas for a delightful meal. It also keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
