  • 4 large eggs Can be substituted with flax eggs for a vegan version.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  4. In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the dry cake mix evenly.
  5. Pour the pecan mixture over the cake mix without stirring.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
