  • 2 tablespoons orange juice Fresh orange juice enhances flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey Adjust for sweetness preference.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced For added flavor.
  • 2 green onions chopped For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving Serve with cooked rice or noodles.

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 1 minute.
Cooking
  1. Add ground chicken to the skillet; cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  2. Pour in the orange sauce mixture; stir until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve over cooked rice or noodles and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the Orange Ground Chicken cool completely. Place it in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It can also be frozen in a freezer-safe container.
