  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest Add more for a stronger lemon flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Can substitute with almond extract for variation.
Base and Garnish
  • 1 package Graham cracker crumbs For crust; can substitute with crushed cookies.
  • 1 slices Lemon slices For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Add Greek yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, poppy seeds, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
Assembly
  1. In a serving dish or individual cups, layer graham cracker crumbs as the base.
  2. Spoon the lemon poppy seed mixture over the crust.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until set.
  4. Garnish with lemon slices before serving.
