- Cut mozzarella sticks in half if desired.
- Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
- Dredge each cheese stick in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry cheese sticks until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serving
- Serve hot with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Store any leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days. To retain crispiness, reheating in the oven is preferred over microwaving.
