  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. In a pan, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and drain on paper towels, leaving the fat in the pan.
  4. Add olive oil to the pan if needed and add chicken pieces. Cook until lightly browned.
  5. Pour the maple mixture over the cooked chicken, then add the bacon back to the pan.
  6. Toss everything to coat well, then transfer to a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is bubbly.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

These bites keep well in the fridge for up to 3-4 days in an airtight container. They freeze beautifully for about a month. For reheating, just pop them in a skillet or microwave until heated through. You can prep the chicken and glaze a day in advance.
