  • 1 slice cheddar cheese Can substitute with other cheese variants.
  • to taste maple syrup Use generously for sweetness.
  • to taste butter Optional, for toasting the waffles.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning the beef patty.

Preparation
  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the beef patty to your desired doneness, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. While the patty is cooking, toast the waffles in a toaster or in a skillet with a little butter until golden brown.
Assembly
  1. Once the patty is cooked, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top and let it melt slightly.
