  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey or to taste
  • 1 unit lemon, sliced
  • as needed cubes Ice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add the dried lavender.
  3. Steep for about 10 minutes, then strain the lavender out.
  4. Stir in honey while the tea is still warm, adjusting sweetness to taste.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator.
Serving
  1. To serve, pour over ice and add lemon slices.

Notes

Lavender Iced Tea can be served in tall glasses filled with ice. Add a lemon slice on the rim for an added touch. It is great on its own or enjoyed with light snacks or desserts. For a fun twist, consider adding fresh mint leaves or a splash of sparkling water for some fizz. Adjust the amount of honey based on your sweetness preference and feel free to experiment with other ingredients.
