  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard Optional, adds texture.
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced) For flavor; ensure it’s minced finely.
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice Use for acidity.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and black pepper
  • to taste Fresh parsley (chopped for garnish) Use for garnishing the dish.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, whole grain mustard (if using), garlic, vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour the honey mustard sauce over the pork chops. Simmer for 5–7 minutes, turning once, until chops are cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Remove pork from skillet and let rest for 3 minutes. Spoon sauce over the top, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
