  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Make sure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream For a healthier option, use Greek yogurt.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Adjust amount according to taste.
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions Optional topping for garnish.
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the refried beans, cream cheese, and sour cream until smooth.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, taco seasoning, green onions, salsa, and minced garlic.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve with Fritos, chips, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

For added heat, consider adding diced jalapeƱos or a pinch of cayenne pepper. Top the dip with extra cheese or green onions for a nice presentation. To store leftovers, place in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Stir before serving again.
