Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling
  • 1 cup pizza dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce For filling; additional for serving
  • 1/2 cup chopped pepperoni Or other desired toppings
  • 1 each egg For egg wash
  • to taste oregano and basil For seasoning
For Brushing
  • to taste olive oil For brushing the tops

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a spoonful of pizza sauce, cheese, and your toppings in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with oregano and basil.
Baking
  1. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven for best results.
