  • 2 slices bread Choose your favorite type.
  • 2 slices cheese Cheddar or mozzarella work well.
  • 2-3 slices Canadian bacon Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 cup pineapple tidbits Canned or fresh.
For Cooking
  • to taste none butter For grilling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
  4. Layer cheese, Canadian bacon, and pineapple on top.
  5. Add the second slice of cheese and then the other slice of bread, butter-side up.
Cooking
  1. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Carefully flip the sandwich and grill the other side until golden and the cheese melts, about another 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, slice, and enjoy your Hawaiian Pizza Grilled Cheese!

Notes

Serve with crispy fries or a fresh garden salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 days.
