Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground hamburger, sausage, onion, and bell pepper over medium heat until the meat is browned and the vegetables are soft. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the pepperoni, cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
- Fill the crust with the meat and cheese mixture.
- Cover with another pie crust or create a lattice top with additional crust.
- Brush the top crust with beaten egg.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Don't rush the browning process of the meats; it deepens the flavor tremendously. This pie keeps well in the fridge for about 3-4 days, and it can be frozen for up to 2 months.
