Preparation
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Spread goat cheese on the unbuttered side of the bread.
- Drizzle honey over the goat cheese.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
This sandwich is best enjoyed fresh, but if there are leftovers, store in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet on low heat to maintain crispiness. Consider serving with salad, tomato soup, or sweet potato fries.
