  • 2 oz goat cheese Creamy goat cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey To drizzle over the cheese
  • Butter For spreading on bread

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Spread goat cheese on the unbuttered side of the bread.
  5. Drizzle honey over the goat cheese.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  7. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

This sandwich is best enjoyed fresh, but if there are leftovers, store in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet on low heat to maintain crispiness. Consider serving with salad, tomato soup, or sweet potato fries.
