Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Poke holes all over the warm cake using a fork.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, coconut, and pecans. Pour this mixture over the cake, making sure to fill the holes.
- Once the cake is completely cool, top with chocolate frosting.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you have leftovers, store in the fridge for 3-4 days. It can also be frozen for up to 3 months. For extra decadence, serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
