  • 1 pound chicken breast Boneless and skinless
  • 4 pieces sandwich buns Soft, toasty buns
  • 2 tablespoons butter Unsalted for better flavor control
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the chicken
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic gives the best flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt Season according to preference
  • to taste black pepper Season according to preference
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing For spreading on the buns
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped Fresh and crisp
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breast with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken for about 6 to 8 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, melt the butter, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Return the sliced chicken to the skillet and toss to coat it evenly in the garlic butter.
Assembly
  1. Lightly toast the sandwich buns and spread Caesar dressing on the cut sides of each bun.
  2. Layer the bottom buns with garlic butter chicken, romaine lettuce, and Parmesan cheese, then top with the other bun halves.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

For best results, serve with a side of fries or a light salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
