Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into rectangles or circles, depending on your preference.
- Place some shredded mozzarella and a few slices of pepperoni in the center of each piece of dough.
- Fold the dough over to create a roll and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
For a unique flavor, try adding garlic powder or crushed red pepper to your filling. If using different cheeses or adding veggies, adjust the amounts accordingly for best results.
