  • 1 package pizza dough
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 large egg, beaten for egg wash
  • to taste Olive oil for brushing
  • to taste Italian seasoning optional
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into rectangles or circles, depending on your preference.
  4. Place some shredded mozzarella and a few slices of pepperoni in the center of each piece of dough.
  5. Fold the dough over to create a roll and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a unique flavor, try adding garlic powder or crushed red pepper to your filling. If using different cheeses or adding veggies, adjust the amounts accordingly for best results.
