Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) if you’re baking.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, and fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides (about 5-7 minutes each side). Alternatively, place the breaded chicken in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.
- In the last few minutes of cooking, place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast, allowing the cheese to melt.
- Drizzle with honey mustard sauce before serving.
Notes
Serve with crispy fries or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat in the oven for best results.
