Ingredients
  

For the Brownies
  • 1 cup unsalted butter Melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee
For the Frosting
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter, then stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips and brewed coffee.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Frosting
  1. Beat together butter, powdered sugar, brewed coffee, and cocoa powder until smooth.
Serving
  1. Once brownies have cooled, spread the frosting on top, cut into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
