  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon Feel free to experiment with other spices such as nutmeg or pumpkin spice.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted butter Make sure to grease the baking dish well.
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts or raisins This is optional; you can skip or substitute as preferred.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. If desired, fold in chopped nuts or raisins.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until set and golden on top.
  2. Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle with icing, if using, and serve warm.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal Bake cool completely, then cover tightly with plastic wrap or transfer to an airtight container. It can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
