- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, mashed avocado, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Spread the mixture evenly onto two slices of bread.
- Top with shredded cheese and place the remaining bread slices on top.
- Butter the outsides of each sandwich.
Cooking
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
