Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and add the taco seasoning according to package instructions.
- Roll out the puff pastry or crescent roll dough and cut it into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the seasoned beef on each rectangle and top with a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges. Brush with egg wash.
Baking
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with optional toppings.
Notes
For extra crispiness, brush a little more egg wash before baking. You can also mix in some pepper jack cheese for a spicy twist! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3–4 days or freeze them for up to 2–3 months, reheating in the oven for optimal texture.
