  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the pepperoni slices on the prepared sheet, spacing them about 1/2 inch apart.
  3. Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of cream cheese onto the center of each pepperoni slice.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the cream cheese on each pepperoni cup.
  5. Season each with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  6. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese is melted and the pepperoni edges are nice and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before garnishing with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for up to a month. Reheat in the oven before serving.
