  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips Use mini chocolate chips for more chocolate in every bite.
For the cheesecake filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened You can use low-fat cream cheese for the filling, but it may alter the texture.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
Assembling and Baking
  1. Take a small portion of cookie dough, flatten it, place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the center, and then cover it with another portion of cookie dough.
  2. Place the stuffed cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
