Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
Assembling and Baking
- Take a small portion of cookie dough, flatten it, place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the center, and then cover it with another portion of cookie dough.
- Place the stuffed cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cooling
- Let them cool before serving.
