Preparation and Baking
  1. Preheat your oven and prepare cake pans according to the cake mix package instructions.
  2. Bake the chocolate cake mix as directed and let cool.
Making the Frosting

  2. In another bowl, combine softened butter, powdered sugar, caramel sauce, and vanilla until smooth to make the frosting.
Assembling the Cake
  1. Layer the cooled cake with frosting and toffee bits.
