Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce until well coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  3. Assemble the sandwich by placing half of the cheddar cheese on one slice of bread, followed by the buffalo chicken mixture, and then the remaining cheese on top.
  4. Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread.
Cooking
  1. Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-5 minutes per side.
  2. Slice and serve with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks, if desired.

Notes

For best results, keep the heat at medium to ensure the outside gets crispy without burning while the inside melts. You can also vary the ingredients by adding sautéed onions or using different sauces.
