  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Ensure it's at room temperature for smooth mixing.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Make sure it's soft for easy creaming.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract, beating until well combined.
  4. Mix in the egg until fully incorporated.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the blueberries.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Cookies can be served warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with white chocolate. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for 3 months.
