- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the mashed bananas, egg, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Let them cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer bag for up to three months.
