  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced Fresh mushrooms are recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream Not suitable for dairy-free diets.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust seasoning to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper, then sear on both sides until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, add butter and mushrooms. Sauté until the mushrooms are golden brown.
  2. Stir in the heavy cream and garlic powder. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
  3. Return the beef to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
