- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper, then sear on both sides until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Cooking
- In the same skillet, add butter and mushrooms. Sauté until the mushrooms are golden brown.
- Stir in the heavy cream and garlic powder. Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
- Return the beef to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
