  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, sliced Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness.
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced Can substitute with other berries.
Cake Components
  • 1 box yellow cake mix You can experiment with different cake mixes.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted Make sure to drizzle evenly.
Toppings
  • 1 cup whipped cream Serve warm with whipped cream on top.
  • optional Chocolate drizzle For extra richness.
  • optional Maraschino cherries, for garnish Add for decoration and flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, layer the sliced bananas, crushed pineapple, and strawberries.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the fruit layers.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  3. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream on top and garnish with chocolate drizzle and maraschino cherries if desired.

Notes

Cover tightly with plastic wrap or foil to store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. It can also be prepared a day in advance.
