Ingredients
  

Fruit Layer
  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, sliced The riper the better for sweetness.
  • 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries Feel free to substitute with other fruits.
Cake Base
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup butter, melted Can be substituted with coconut oil for a vegan option.
Toppings
  • 1 cup whipped cream For serving.
  • to taste chocolate syrup Optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Layer the bananas, crushed pineapple, and strawberries in the baking dish.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the dry cake mix over the fruit layers.
  4. Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with whipped cream on top and drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.

Notes

For a vegan version, use coconut oil instead of butter. You can also replace strawberries with blueberries or cherries based on preference. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to two months.
