Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, eggs, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mix and stir until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Glazing
- To make the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters and serve.
Notes
To store leftovers, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
