  • 200 g pasta (your choice) Any pasta type works, such as spaghetti or penne.
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Can substitute with frozen broccoli.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 piece lemon (juiced) Adjust to taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (optional for serving) Sprinkle on top for extra flavor.
  • Red pepper flakes (optional for heat) Add for a spicy kick.

Cooking
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. In the last 3 minutes, add the broccoli to the boiling pasta water. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine the ripe avocados, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Toss the cooked pasta and broccoli with the avocado sauce until well-coated. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Serve immediately, topped with Parmesan cheese if using.

Notes

Serve warm and consider pairing with a simple salad for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 2-3 days. When reheating, add a splash of water or olive oil to restore creaminess.
