  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Use as needed to coat the balls.
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped Can substitute with chives for a different flavor.
  • 1 whole egg Acts as a binder for the mixture.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season to your preference.
  • Oil spray (for air frying) Helps achieve a crispy texture.

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, green onions, and egg. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Cooking
  1. Place the potato balls in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray lightly with oil.
  2. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy, shaking the basket halfway through.

  1. Serve warm as a snack or appetizer.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days or freeze them for up to 3 months. Air fry them at 375°F for 5-7 minutes to reheat.
